December 1 every year we stop and look back from where we are coming from.All that we can visibly see is the road that is littered by millions of children,man and women .We see our brothers and dear sisters who joined the endless list of those who have been swalloed by this monister called AIDS.My soul is deeply moved,my heart is pained.i can fill the heavy burden on my shoulder.Tears start to trickle down my eyes and and my cheeks are waterd.Pain and sorrow overpower me my eyes look back at the endless heroes whom we have lost.Far back and almost invisible ,my beloved sister succumbed to AIDS.She was so clse to me .On that valley nmy dear friend ,one of the finest friend i have ever met was overpowered by the deadly disease.On that corner my aunt was taken away and disappeared forever from the face of the earth.She pained so much.just miles away when ,there lay my lecturer,a man whom had become my mentor.Even right now i van't believe that AIDS took him away.I can't go on surving and looking back on this long journey that i have already covered.For how long then shall we keep on living this kind of life?.Till when shall we learn that Aids is deadly?.Why do we keep on walking blindly and fall victim to this disease?.I now turn and look ahead,i face the painfull endless journey ahead of me again.It seems like ages before i finish it.will all friends make it?will we get there and will fall one by one before we reach the epic of life.Will this generation arrive safely.The future looks bleak.The number of fallen heroes keeps on growing. The number keeps on diminishing.Yes another 1 december had passed.Another landmark had passed in this bitter and painful chapter.Dear brothers and beloved sisters let us soldier on.Armed with knowledge,determination,perseverance and will we will overcome.Nothing is too difficult and impossible as long as we fight together against our common enermy-AIDS
